Corgi Vanguards Ford Consul Capri 335 (109E) Lime Green and Ermine White
The two-door Consul Capri was Ford’s first entry into the British coupé market with the saloon version in April 1961 followed by the coupé in September. Our model is the Capri 335 which was a two-door version of the Consul Classic 315 or 109E range as it was often referred to. As a range it had a limited life, squeezed by the unexpected success of the Ford Anglia, and effectively rendered obsolete by the forthcoming Cortina, and especially the planned Lotus version which was offered only as a two-door saloon all in white with a contrasting green side down each flank. Will add a degree of authenticity to any late British Railways period lay out. Comes with the 901 UYS registration plate.
