This car has longevity since it spans the best part of 20 years. The original Austin 7 – nicknamed the Baby Austin – first saw light of day in the early 1920s with various upgrades over the years. With a restyled and longer bonnet, cowled radiator, spare wheel with metal cover and luggage rack the Austin 7 Ruby appeared in 1936 with production continuing up until 1939.
